First Time for Doing This

My previous post I did through E-mail. If you don't know, blogger has given you the option of writing a blog post now through E-mail and SMS Messaging. Yes I do know the option to do this has been going to a while but my reason for using it is that in my college St David's Catholic College, the stupid restrictions have been set to many sites like Facebook (totally unfair as I know that some other colleges can go on it), and blogger. Quite typical that it would do it, the main sites I normally use I can't access in my frees. Although you can really surprising you an access Youtube.

So my mentor, Jongudmund suggested writing a blog post through an E-mail and I do have to say that it has worked quite well. But as normal there are always restrictions, I might just not know how to do them. I wasn't able to place tags on there and t's just not as advanced as the blogger editing post. But if you do want to do it, the one thing I do know that you have to put the title of the blog post in the subject bar on on your E-mail.

I guess I do have the option of writing a blog post by text, but considering how log my blog posts do tend, I do love blogging but spending about £2 writing a blog post is a bit extreme and also how long it would have to take to send. I guess I could do it in very REAR times when I not near a computer or camping or something. Going to have to do that some time then.

Up Up to a Retreat

Recently I have seen a couple of films and if you can't guess by the title, I saw 'Couples Retreat' and also Disney Pixars 'Up'. Now these two films are obviously and completely different and have no similarities.

Disney Pixar's Up
The film Up was amazing, although it is still puzzling me that Pixar and Disney announced that they were stopping making films together after Wall.E but this must have not happened which I am really glad at as 'Up' I think is a possible contender to Toy Story. The very creative thinking about the whole of the movie, a POINT............ House being lifted up by thousands of balloons could never happen, but I guess anything can happen in movies. Now I am going to admit it but I did shed a tear at the beginning which was very good and very technical by Pixar to engage the audience to watch the film right from the start of the film and at the end (Secret). The characters in it were amazing, they SQUIRREL.................. made the move even better. Russell (The Scout), Mr Fredrickson (The old man), Dug (the dog) and Kevin (The Bird). And in the film very creepy the character Mr Fredrickson when the was younger looked like my friend (I now have a real good picture of what he will look like when he is older) and Russell My other friend. A real well deserved rating for it's mixed of comedy, adventure, sadness with very very funny moments throughout the film all tied up to make it brilliant, POINT.......................... Not telling you any more so I don't give anything away.
A Coner Rating of 10/10
Go an see as soon as possible

Couple Retreat
Now even though I did just say about 'Up' that is was really funny film,That was a really funny ANIMATION film, this is the most funniest film I have ever seen. With a great cast of Jon Favreau, Vince Vaughn, Faizon Love and Kirsten Bell made it brilliantly funny. This movies see four couples go on a vacation and doesn't turn out how they were told that it was. The featured things in the film like Guitar Hero as Vince Vaughn or Dave in the film is a games designer and created the game Guitar Hero. Now the film shows what any person acts like when they are playing Guitar Hero alone in a room (and if you see the film and don't agree with what I have just said then comment but I know that you are in total denial). And also stereotypical groups of couples and certain people come across how you imagine them. These things plus many many more were created really well.
The very funny and hilarious film is pain killing from the laughter.
A Coner Rating of 9/10 (only because some of the jokes I didn't really get)
I say go on a day which you feel quite down as this will really cheer you up.

You really learn something when you listern.

I have discovered something recently. Myself, I really love my music and all different kinds at that, Hip Hop, Rap, Pop Rock (not many people can define this), Rock (which ever rock bands you are think of, nowadays they would be put into Pop Rock) and Indie (only a little different to Pop Rock).

Well I have come across the thing about songs that I have only been listerning to the best and not to the lyrics. I found this out after read an article on my mentors blog, Freelance Theology read and article about Robbie Williams new Song. I liked this song, not loved but liked and when I read this I listened to the lyrics and the things he said I really didn't agree with which has made me not like the song.

Another I have recently listened to is All American Rejects Move along. Again my mentor as we are into the All American Rejects told me to have a look at the videos for Move Along. Watching that Video I also listened to the lyrics and I now know what the song is and has really given me an insight to it and like it even more than I did.

When listening to a song, the lyrics can be really beneficial as it could change your opinion of the song, making it better or even coming to reality that you shouldn't like the song because you don't agree with it.

Forget What I Have Said Before

Ok, if you are a frequent reader of my blog (which I hope quite a few people do) you might have read the blog post Where are we going? (click the link to view the post). In it, it says that I don't really want technology to develop as fast as it is. FORGET IT.

On Friday I went to St David's 2. The 4th of July 2006 was the start of demolition for St David's 2. Just over 3 year and the time has come. Stepping in was like stepping into another shopping centre in London and even a Mall in America. Interactive maps to show you where shops are and what shops are on what floor.

The smooth and sleek style of the whole place, the shine from the walls and floors of the place which most likely won't last, but I hope it does. The music throughout the store pumped through me with enthusiasm. The layout and design from the stores seemed the same but made it better as I was in a totally new place. Shops open and loads more to come.

One shop I was loving being in was the brand new Apple shop. Everything new, old and even thing not made by Apple (I was talking about the applications on the iPhone and iTouch). There was about 10 of every type of product to test, even the latest Apple mouse but I hope it's not like how I tested and it was just a fault on the mouse. Up is down, vice a versa and the same with Left and right. It's about 5 times as bigger than the Apple store in the arcade in town.

Also the shop Cult was there. Now, I am wear quite big sizes, to be Pacific XXXL and possibly one size bigger. Now because of this, it is almost impossible to find a clothing in town, the only place which clothes would definitely fit me is High and Mighty down St Mary's Street. I don't really like looking at clothes which don't fit me, but in Cult it was totally different. I don't really give people money or even lead only if the desperate, but my brother didn't have much money and wanted and really nice top. And I said that I would lead him the money, but sadly he didn't get it.

Thats only just two of the shops I saw there, and I am going back in tomorrow. So properly another blog post to come on St David's 2.

I think I am really getting use to these Facebook changes.

Breaking News

Breaking News, actually two bits of breaking news
1. For the first time ever, the sidebar of advertisements on Facebook have actually come into some good use today
2 Apple have a New Mac Book out without any keyboard, just one hugh click wheel in the centre. Amazing I know. Check out this video to have a look at it

P.S. This Video is so unrealistically fake, and sadly looks like it took so much effort to do it

The joys of V+ (and also SKY+)

Me, personally think its great when you discover something new, but it even greater when you discover something and you have a real great laugh doing it.
What I am talking about is TV, but not just TV, Virgin + if you haven't guessed by the title. if you don't know what it is, LOOK IT UP
In my house I have Virgin Media, but also have got a V+ box which pauses, rewinds and records upto 80 hours of TV. What my brother found out though is that it can go in slow motion.

When you use this feature in the right places and times, you can have a great laugh with it. For example, watching You've Been Framed or some otther funny TV show some clips look awasome when going in slow motion, when someone if falling over. I am not exactly sure but I think you can do it with a SKY+ box as well.

From the great laugh me and my brothers have had from it, if you are on SKY or Virgin Media, get a SKY+ box or V+ box. Personally I think Virgin is the best as it offers you more and don't need to pay if it breaks.

Creative Talents.

A couple of years ago when I was in year 10, so.... 2 years ago in my old high school we have a thing called Activities Week where you do one activity for a whole week. Well you do it for 3 days, but I guess they can't call it 3 day Activity or maybe they can, anyway back to the point. They have activities from going Camping over night, touring the city, and things based in school like fashion and the one I did, Animation.

I did these short Animation videos using a Digital Blue Camera taking photos and putting them all together. Doing this takes a lot of patience as the one animation took 2 hours to make. During the "Week" I created 6 animations with my friends and for your pleasure I have uploaded them to this blog post for your viewing pleasure.

Encounter with a Robot.
This was our first idea and I know its a bit shabby but
give me a break.

Discovery Blobs
It's what it says, they are blobs of plasticine and they discover
objects, I think this was the best out of all the animations.

Blobs in Trouble
This is another one of a series of three animations based around
the blobs, shorter than the one above but still good. There is a little
dialogue in there but you need to really listern.

Crime Doesn't Pay
This animation we were kinda forced into doing as our teacher wanted
to see what a paper animations looks like. Not getting our hopes up,
it come out pretty good.

3 Blobs in a Car
This is the final animation about the blobs and also the final one we
did in the week. This is just a quite idea which we came up with.
Again listern out for the dialogue in it.

Techinally Gaming Definition.

This evening, my older brother who isn't or not the biggest gaming fan commented on the PS3 when an Xbox advert was on. He first noted how Microsoft made the Xbox look much smaller than the Xbox Elite (which it is not). After that I then notified him that the PS3 Slim the same size as the Xbox. Then making the funniest comment on the original PS3 I have ever heard.

This is the Quote of the Day from my Brother:
"It doesn't surprise me that the slim is the same size as the Xbox as thePS3 is massive. It's like one whopping great big Fridge which should be inyour kitchen. If someone didn't know What it was they would say 'Shouldn't that be in your kitchen.'"
