How to Advertise

Advertising on TV recently has become a bit dodgy. All these new techniques (this is what I am calling them) of advertising. Next thing we will know all adverts will be copy follow the Shepard and eventually we will have no idea what is being advertised on our TVs.
Techniques which could well catch on for companies is

Produce an advert which doesn't relate to what the company produces at all. This has been done by Cadbury's, THREE TIMES (which comes to no surprise). Seriously what is the point of having kids raising there eyebrows to some techno music and Aeroplane vehicles racing down a runway and driving over luggage bags, Someone tell me what has this got to do with chocolate. Unfortunately I have a very strong feeling that this will catch on.

Animation is a good way of advertising as it is cheap and you can also add funky music in the background. Done by 118 247, such a great advert which can make you laugh. Put a rhythm in with the words and you have a funny advert. This is a technique I hope that will catch on. Great.

Make adverts SEXY. Add anything which is sexy in an advert and it will sell and fly out of the store. This technique of advertising has already been used in many adverts, Birds eye Fish Fingers, all make up adverts and also I saw one the other day which actually looked like a porno but was an advert for Kiss FM (I had to check I wasn't watching the American Super Bowl for a second).

There are many ways to advertise and some of these can be great, some of them can be really rubbish an also disturbing. I know which types of advert I want to see on my TV from now on.
