They Should Conversations THEY HAVE

If you read my previous post 'They Should Conversation' well that they should have become a THEY HAVE. From the master of all knowledge whose name I will no mention (Jongudmund) I have been informed that there is a sort of Guitar hero but not guitar hero Christian Worship game called
Guitar Praise
Guitar Praise is a PC format game which is the first downer and not on any games consoles. So far not what I really wanted as I hoped that it would be on a Games Console and made by Activision or Neversoft. But it's got a Guitar and had good rock Christian music which is good but on screen play doesn't look to good.
This just shows how much I have got into Guitar Hero World Tour.

Guitar Praise is out in the US but news tells me that I will be coming to us in the nearer future. So look out for it in the shops. My They should Dream hasn't fully come true yet but might happen some day.
Cool as it looks on the Coner scale it gets a
7/10

They Should Conversations

The best type of conversations is the 'they should' conversations when you talk about something and wish that they would create this or do that. In our older youth group this morning, some how we come across talking about Guitar Hero, not really suprising in a Sunday Morining Older Group Youth at Glenwood. Then the one thing only mentioned in the group about Christianity was the my friend Tom came out and said THEY SHOULD make a Christian Worship Guitar Hero game.

That was one was possibly the best 'they should' idea I have ever heared. Creating a Christian Edition of Guitar Hero and another surgestion for it was that they should create a cross for for the guitar very funny. Well we must wait and see what happens, if it might hit the shelves some day.

You get the Supermarket rip offs on the price of items and the offers which only turn out to be 1p less if you actually work it out, well now look out because Supermarkets have decided to turn against you again.

All you TV fanatics who buy your TV magazines make sure you check that you have a whole magazine and not not half wanting in your trolley to attack by being scanned. Check before you drop (CBYD) but also not just TV magazines check any you buy because there might be one looming your way HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Reaching that age.

It was my birthdat yesterday, Happy birthday to me. Getting older turning 16; I does bring you some advantages like going to the cinema and when they ask you how old you are for a 15 and being able to say that you area year older, buying a lottry ticket which I did yesterday (rubbish numbers) and some other gulty pleasure legally if you know what I mean.

So as getting older can be really boring it can have it's benifits, bring on 18. But my birthday went well, apart from staying in the hospital all day in the concourse and no being able to play on Guitar hero world tour which is amazing and also the songs on it and then going for a meal at Dinner 77 and seeing 'Slum Dog Millionnaire ' 8/10 (worth seing) at the cinema. It all went well and was a good day.

To the nth degree annoying.

Everyday some people have good days and some have bad days, but one thing which will make or brake these types of days is your friends being sarcastic. If your on a good day, sarcasm can be good like my friend Jongudmund, then any more than that then it becomes a bad day. Then if you are having a bad day and your friends or even family are sarcastic a little then, my advice, don't do what you are thinking to do like my other friend Emyr.
I am not saying sarcasm isn't funny but just to say know your friends limits to it and what type of day they are on before. On my defence, none of this applies to me none of it I tell you. But here's something which is very funny sarcasm.

Where are we going?`

Take a look at this contraption.
What you see hear is a mobile phone. How it works, I do not know. Nokia's Morph Nanotechnology Concept Phone. Cambridge University and Nokia teamed up to produced a concept mobile phone using NANOTECHNOLOGY. Using this technology and other tricks up the sleazes This is a Flexible, Stretchable Phone allowing you to transform the handset into radically different shapes.

Yes, this is really cool but what is happening. Nanotechnology and stretchable phone is MAD, looking at it carefully and thinking what we are living among. We are hypnotised into technology in the world today. Looking at the phone and thinking, it makes you wonder where we will be in this world in 10 years among this technology, driving flying cars, not needing to walk a cm and the technology we are in now being the equivalent to technology 10 years ago looking back when we get there.

This phone is said to ready seven years from now. People are making concept phones when they could be thinking of ways to help global warming. How fast these years are going seven years will be here in no time.

The way technology seems to be developing, do we really want seven years to come.

What to do and how to do it.

Why is it that after Christmas you have all of these presents and yet a couple of weeks after you are twiddling your thumbs. Personally I am not into reading but I got this book for Christmas call
'The Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook' from the series of books and before a event which happens to me which I could of prevented if read this book I put my Big foot feet down and picked up the book.

You DO come across some really extreme situations in the book and one I found was 'How to Leap From A Motorcycle to a Car' and just for your pleasure I will tell you what it says just for your amusement:
For even more amusement; I have added my own comments in about them.

'How to Leap From A Motorcycle to a Car'

If you are trying to enter the car through one of its windows, remember that in many newer cars, only the front windows roll all the way down. You should attempt to be on the front passenger side

1) Wear a high-quality helmet and a leather jacket plus leather pants and boots.
(Comment. So the things you should be wearing on a motorcycle.)

2) Make sure both vehicles are moving at the same speed.
The slower the speed, the safer the move. Anything faster than sixty miles per hour is extremely dangerous.
(Comment. So don't leap from the motorcycle to the car on a motorway and IF IT ISN'T DANGEROUS ENOUGH)

3)Wait for a long straight section of road
(Comment. Not a roundabout)

4) get the vehicles as close as possible to each other.
You will be on the passenger side of the car, so you will be very close to the edge of the roadway. Be careful not to swerve.

5) Stand crouched with both of your feet on either the running board to the seat

6) Hold the throttle until the last instant.
Remember, as soon as you release the throttle the bike speed will decrease.
(Comment. Well NOOOOO.)

7) If the car has a handle inside (above the door) grab it with your free hand.
If not, Simply time the leap so your torso lands in the car. If someone can grab you and pull you in, all the better

8) Have the driver swerve away from the bike as soon as you are inside.
Once you have released the handle bars, the bike will go out of control and crash. It may also slip under the rear passenger wheel of the car.

9) If you miss the window tuck and roll away from the vehicles (see page 82 fir jumping out from a moving car.)
(Comment. Or get run over.)

Be Aware
The move is much easier if two people are on the motorcycle so that the non-jumper can continue driving
(Comment and leave which the Motorcycle crashes)

In the movies and in the stunt shows, these transfers are usually performed at slow speeds, and in fact often employ the use of a metal step installed on one side of the bike or car, which allows the rider to step off while keeping the bike balanced. You are no likely to have this option.
(Comment. As they said, In the movies' which is not real life, so why mention it. This book just wasted ink and killed a tree. Bad people.)

Rocking Around

On Friday night I did an All Nighter with my Church (if you read the previous post then you would know about it) and one thing which they had was a Game console and one of the younger youth brought Guitar hero for the PS2. Fed up of the group of friends I hang round with talking about how amazing it is and never tried it, I thought I would give it a go.

Hopefully as I say this I will be right, comment if you disagree. First time you try something like Guitar hero you ain't the best, sort of like the dance mat. As you play it more, you get the hang of it, just like Guitar Hero. Play on easy mode of a bit and you get it. My advice, if you don't have guitar hero for yourself and you play with your friend on his and you get good at easy, Don't move on to the next difficulty, I repeat DO NOT move on to the next difficulty.

I tell you this because of the shear Embarassment you will experience like meself. So until you get Guitar Hero for yourself then DO NOT move onto a hard difficulty. But also playing for hours on end does start to hurt your fingers but you start to grove to it after a while which is cool.

My Personal Rating is 10/10 on any console

(note that on PS2 the Guitar is smaller but still great)

But as I don't own it, I have to live with this is at the movement
http://www.funny-games.biz/super-crazy-guitar-maniac-2.html

But hears a funny comic strip about Guitar Hero. which I saw from my friend I think I am
frame 1 or 2.

All nighter

On Friday night the Church had a youth All Nighter which I did with the Church a couple of months ago. Again as usual with Glenwood Church, there is always a new experience when I do something with them. The new experiences this time is Guitar hero and muscle aches showing how much exercise I do.

The whole night was great playing playing games like extreme team ball (dodge ball to you) a treasure hunt at kick things off and games in the dark in a hall. I don't even think you call it games in the dark instead off games in the pitch black, I don't even caves are darker than what we played in, which was really cool. Comparing to saying up all night in your own home and staying up doing things really has it toll around about 3 o'clock sitting down, leaning up against a wall. Thinking about walking down to the lake I gave a miss as if I did, I wouldn't be back. So everyone loves playing guitar hero for hours on end.

But the 5 great thing about the all Nighter are:

  • Spending time with my friends
  • Playing the games in the dark (or pitch black)
  • Being the winning team in the treasure hunt
  • Not having to go to sleep
  • And just having a great time

Although, one thing troubles me. When you play games and standing to play guitar hero, Should your muscles really be hurting or do I not do much walking.

Harmless fun or Shear pain

A note to all of the people with a 'Nintendo Wii', they are so fun and yet so evil after Suffering repetitive Strain injury and almost punching my living room TV in.
Here are some tips to stop you getting into the situation I was in:

1) Don't get so Competitive over a game (but I think I am right
in saying that most people with a Wii get competitive.

2) Try and avoid playing Boxing with a family member
(friends OK as if you hit them, you won't get into half the
trouble than hitting a family member)

3) Think before playing the Wii they are really fun but
are they that fun that you would play on them for 6
hours straight a risk, no defiantly getting an injury .................. um
YEAH

Growing up can be rubish when you regonise it.

First thing I have got to say is sorry that I am starting my blog on a negative note. Just coming up to the end of the Christmas holidays for me a, well what happened. Two weeks before Christmas any normal person should be excited but some reason it did hit me one bit and even putting up Decorations not a thing.

Hoping to get a Christmasy feeling later on, one week to go and everywhere you see Christmas Decorations include you own home and school and still nothing. Christmas Day and What the hell has happened. Am I going crazy or what. Yeah every Christmas eve you can't get to sleep that's the only thing which was the same but Christmas day just felt like a day when you come down stairs and open presents. Yeah that's what Christmas is opening presents and it not at the same time. It just wasn't Christmas. People asking are you excited for Christmas and lying through my teeth. WHY.

Realising that after 15 years of having Christmas, is it just not becoming the same, is it that I am becoming more of an adult, or should I be realising the real meaning of what happened on 25Th. The birth of Jesus.
A Few Days before Christmas Wondering why it doesn't feel like Christmas.

But I have to say a few good things which came out of this was that a good a few good presents and had what feels like a long long time off school YES.
