Merchandise Overload

Since the film Toy story 3 has come out all I have seen is all different types of Toy Story Merchandise. Action Figures, Learning toys for children based on Toy Story, costumes even character torches. But apart from all the spin off stuff like the torches I have wanted some of the merchandise, more specifically the collectors editions of Woody and Buzz (in his original spaceship packaging and both with collectors certificates) and also the Aliens (yes they are soft toy but I don't care).

All of this stuff I do confess I did see in the Disney shop resulting in me actually going into the Disney shop which I don't mind. But as Disney are trying to create and ship off all this new merchandise there must be a problem which will creep up somewhere and as I saw, there was. While looking at the huge, changing selection of Toy Story toys (every time I go into the Disney shop there is some new Toy Story toy which wasn't there before), I did come across a merchandise mistake. Take a look at the photo below.

1. If you can spot the mistake then well done
2. If you can't spot the mistake and have seen the film, get a new pair of eyes.
3. If you can't spot the mistake and haven't seen the film yet (but who hasn't), then whatever time it is now to you, go out now and see it in the cinema.

The mistake if you haven't spotted it is that on the packaging it say Toy Story 3 when in fact RC Car wasn't even in the 3rd film alone with other characters like Bo Peep and Wheezy.

Advice for Disney, recheck your products before shipping and make sure you have staff and designers with common sense.

A Real Toy Story

Ok it has taken me a while to do this blog post on Toy Story 3 actually a while to do a blog post at all. Let me start by saying that it is really great and sure did live up to Toy Story standard (if you know what that is). Although there were a few different things to the whole film.

In every Disney Film the is a dark, scary scene for the younger audience, though in his film there was defiantly more than one dark and scary scene. There was a big change during the film into the dark side. It was a bit of surprise with the dark side that it did take, but some of these dark sides did come out really funny.

The other different part of the film that it was very emotional film. It focused on the theme of growing up, basing it all around andy growing up and moving on going to college. Though the growing up was more about the film. Through my child hood I have grown up with Toy Story but now to know that the last film has been made, it is the end of an ere. But to also know of a first hand what it will be like when I go to college and the feelings that I could possibly feel just had a turn on me.

My mum one day called me in to watch Loose Women and they were talking about Toy Story and that some men cried at the end. I think men crying at a film is some what ok depending on the film but Toy Story is one which men shouldn't cry but it does brake that rule due to the emotional side. I personal shed a tear, just at the situation picturing myself in Andy's potion.

A Coner rating for Toy Story 3 is
9/10 just because after seeing it two times it does get a bit predictable.

The G.I.Joes Review

Yesterday I went to see the CGI G.I.Joe and all I can say is that I was stunned by what I was
watching. I have to admit that I went into the cinema going to see it not expecting it to be that good. Well what I can say is that I felt that way about the Transformer film. THINK ABOUT IT (if you are a fan of Transformers).

The first thing when I was watching it is that I thought 'OK now which one is G.I.Joe.' Thankfully I was relieved to know that G.I.Joe (or the Joe's) was a name of the group. My thoughts the film are that I think the CGI animation in the film was outstanding. But I do have to say I am defiantly a person who really like the Bangs and Booms of explosions of a film and this is defiantly one which has all that in it.

Also the film was really taking a risk by putting in comedy moments quite a few times in the film which I think with how serious they took it I would have been a risk.Although they defiantly pulled it off and also a feature which made the film, and I think I can speak for the other 10 people in the cinema that they also found it funny hearing them laugh.

What they done which was very good that a film with Lots and Lots of explosions in would have an engaging storyline, and here at this moment I am comparing it to Transformers 2 which I think even though I love the Transformers, G.I.Joe did come out on top just because of the gripping sections which make me come forward off my seat a lot. I think it comes out on top as I didn't think it would be that good and I was blown away more by the fact how good it was.

In conclusion, these writers know who to make things better than people expect both in transformers and defiantly in G.I.Joe, I seriously want there to be a sequel.

Coner rating:
G.I.Joe - 9/10, only because the ending of what they did could have been show instead of cut to, Boring. If you have seen it, you would know what I
mean.

And for your pleasure:
Transformers 2 - 8/10 as it was really good but was missing something vital to
make it the same or even better than the first Transformers
film.

Reaching that age.

It was my birthdat yesterday, Happy birthday to me. Getting older turning 16; I does bring you some advantages like going to the cinema and when they ask you how old you are for a 15 and being able to say that you area year older, buying a lottry ticket which I did yesterday (rubbish numbers) and some other gulty pleasure legally if you know what I mean.

So as getting older can be really boring it can have it's benifits, bring on 18. But my birthday went well, apart from staying in the hospital all day in the concourse and no being able to play on Guitar hero world tour which is amazing and also the songs on it and then going for a meal at Dinner 77 and seeing 'Slum Dog Millionnaire ' 8/10 (worth seing) at the cinema. It all went well and was a good day.
