10 'Best Things' of 2009

This I think has been a really good year which and these arn't only the best things but the things I am proud of and really happy with. (These are not in order of best to OK).

1). Getting my GCSE Exam result and how good they were as I really didn't think that they were going to be good at all.

2). Finishing High School and Starting College as not staying in 6th form I now know was a really good idea to get away and start in a new place.

3). Youth Weekend away with my church youth club going to the beach everyday and on the last going early swimming, very cold but lovely and refreshing.

4).Just hanging out with my friends in the summer. It was good just because I didn't do much this summer and just going out with friends was really good and didn't really do before.

5). Getting Guitar Hero for my birthday and playing it on my brothers Xbox 360, Best game I have ever got.

6). Wow on the Water Front during the summer - wasn't really good while I was there but thinking back at it, it was brilliant.

7).Going to my old church BBQ - just seeing old friends and going to around what seemed to
the secret garden and topping it of having really really nice weather.

8)Having my High School Prom and wearing a tuxedo which I couldn't breath in, having really good food at the Hilton and having a good time just in all.

9). Applying for jobs, haven't got any but it was just a really good experience to do it.

10). Having a lot more freedom this year, going into town a lot on my own and going into Cardiff Bay just new experiences.

Have a really happy new year and hope you have an even more better year in 2010.

Cardiffs Next Top Model ME

A couple of months ago I got asked to model for Urban Saints (formerly known as Crusaders). Urban Saints is a Christian Charity who reaches out to children and young people with the good news of Jesus Christ. They connect with the movement in a variety of ways, including weekly youth groups, special events, holidays, community projects and training programmes. Getting back to the point. A friend who works for going public in my church asked me and a few of my friends from the youth in the church I go to help him produce a flyers for Urban Saints being in a photo shoot and for your eyes, this is the photo which he has chosen to use. The point was to get across is how 20,000 young people leave the Church. There is also an inside photo of us laughing but to small to be published. SORRY.

They Should Conversations

The best type of conversations is the 'they should' conversations when you talk about something and wish that they would create this or do that. In our older youth group this morning, some how we come across talking about Guitar Hero, not really suprising in a Sunday Morining Older Group Youth at Glenwood. Then the one thing only mentioned in the group about Christianity was the my friend Tom came out and said THEY SHOULD make a Christian Worship Guitar Hero game.

That was one was possibly the best 'they should' idea I have ever heared. Creating a Christian Edition of Guitar Hero and another surgestion for it was that they should create a cross for for the guitar very funny. Well we must wait and see what happens, if it might hit the shelves some day.

All nighter

On Friday night the Church had a youth All Nighter which I did with the Church a couple of months ago. Again as usual with Glenwood Church, there is always a new experience when I do something with them. The new experiences this time is Guitar hero and muscle aches showing how much exercise I do.

The whole night was great playing playing games like extreme team ball (dodge ball to you) a treasure hunt at kick things off and games in the dark in a hall. I don't even think you call it games in the dark instead off games in the pitch black, I don't even caves are darker than what we played in, which was really cool. Comparing to saying up all night in your own home and staying up doing things really has it toll around about 3 o'clock sitting down, leaning up against a wall. Thinking about walking down to the lake I gave a miss as if I did, I wouldn't be back. So everyone loves playing guitar hero for hours on end.

But the 5 great thing about the all Nighter are:

  • Spending time with my friends
  • Playing the games in the dark (or pitch black)
  • Being the winning team in the treasure hunt
  • Not having to go to sleep
  • And just having a great time

Although, one thing troubles me. When you play games and standing to play guitar hero, Should your muscles really be hurting or do I not do much walking.
