Make Someone's Day

Everyday it makes me happy to do something nice for someone as it does with any other person too, from doing some work for them or surprising them in some way. But you can make someone's day by just doing the most simplest action in the world and that is just smiling.

It is the quickest way to connect with someone, well and people would really think you are weird going up to a stranger and hugging them giving out "Free Hugs." Myself, I find that when you walk past someone or look at someone just smiling makes me feel happy and when they smile back to you makes you feel even more happier. The one thing you will never find out though is they feel happy to or even cheered up as well. It really does sound a bit self centred but it is good that it cheers you up even if it doesn't cheer them up.

Although most likely by now you have worked out the bad things. What they could think of you, could possibly be really nice things or bad things. But the one thing they could think is that they could "Like" like you. Then again one you walk straight past you and most likely never see them again. Although can these things really beat a happy feeling?

So when you are out again try making yours and someone else's day and give them a smile.

Telling the Truth Advertising

This Advert made me laugh for ages. It is generally advertising Blur, the new racing game.
"Blur Delivers bruising 20-car pile-ups in modified real-world street layout for the ultimate in after-dark, illicit, high speed thrills and spills. And, most thrilling of all, Blur supercharges you super car with no just the usual nitrous oxide speed boosts, but an arsenal of weapons to take the enemy drivers off the track."- Quote from Game

In other words it is a real racing game (for the Big Boys). To get a better idea of what real racing games are, Burnout, Gran Turismo, Project Gotham Racing, Split Second, these are examples of real racing game, even though most things on there cannot be done. Then there are game like Mario Kart, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Cars Race-O-Rama.

This I think is a great advertising Strategy for the game showing the opinion of a lot of people and TELLS THE TRUTH FOR THE FIRST TIME. This advert shows what a lot of gamers think about non real racing games and what they are really for. Just take a look.

How determined are you.

I personally think that this should be a fact because I think it is so true, when ever someone goes on the Internet for whatever reason they for some reason end up searching at least one thing on a search engine, (most likey google). Although when on a search engine if you can not find what you want the first time you search, then do you try to define your search to see if you get anything better. I know I do.

Sometimes I am so determined to find something through a search engine I would define it just because it is either brought up the totally wrong thing or I want more or better things on the search. I think a dream of mine for the Internet to do is bring up the thing which I have searched for the first time round. But I have recently found out that a search engine is a search engine whatever.

The leastest search engine is Microsofts Bing advertising it that it gives you want you want without any "Monkey Business" WRONG. Tried it and if I actually had a case strong enough case I could sue them (I am now ranting so a lot of this will be exaggerated).

Search engines are search engines, whatever you would search on one, you would most likely get the same on another, I would know, Ask Jevees. It is all down to the words you use, if the first time you don't get what you want then try again defining it then hopefully at some point you will get what you are looking for. A search engine is mostly rated the best by what they have to offer. Google: email service, calendar etc and other things for other search engines. So my advice, use Google, it is the best.

It's not an iPhone

Hi bloggies. Yes I haven't done a blog post in a while so to make a come back let's do a blog post on what most blogs do, complain.
As most of you know or should know that I have an iPod Touch as you can see at the end of my last couple of posts and also this one. The one thing which annoys me about the iPod Touch is the apps store.

I am one of those people who read all the information about something and this isn't different here. I read all of the describtion of the app before downlaoding and it keeps on saying things like "this is great for the iPhone" or "download for the iPhone".

Just because most people have an iPhone you do not need to discriminate on the iPod Touches. I sadly really do respect the applications in which who mention the iPod Touches in their describtions. Although it doesn't only happen with the describtion on the apps but also when I personaly wip out my iPod Touch and some person says "you getting your iPhone out are you" and if someone gave me a penny for everytime someone has said that to me then I would be really rich (in my mind rich is about £150).

Though the iPhone would cost you almost £45 a month or £400 if you are on pay as you go, a lot of people seem to have them and in result the iPod Touch is dying out slowly. Someone told me that Apple created the iPod Touch as a working prototype for the iPhone so as they have it, is there really any need for the iPod Touch or are Apple just loosing money improving it when the sales are dropping.
I would not be very hopeful for the iPod Touch to have another new generation with the launch of the iPad and the secret, not so secret iPhone 4G coming sometime soon.

It's all in your hands

Well If you have seen some of our recent previous posts and also at the bottom of the blog post, your would have noticed that I have got an iPod Touch.

Since I have had my iPod Touch, out of the technology appliance which I have got i.e xBox 360, Laptop I have not been using them as much at all lately. And I think this where I say sorry.

This is because when the iPod Touch first come out they said there us an app for anything which I didn't believe, but I have been corrected. Since I have had my iPod Touch I have been using it for everything, games, Facebook, internet etc. Although the main purpose of it is for listerning to music which I think I have done the least of since I have had it.

The iPod Touch is like a personal organizer which is really cool. I know it had been out for ages but as this is kind of a review I am going to give the iPod Touch a Coner rating of
9/10
It has apps about drinking tea but it can't actually make one for you. YET

The worst time.

Sometimes people do somethings at the worst times, like buying a DVD and then the next day it goes on sale. But it's worse when you do it for a good reason. So why does it have to happen to me.
Recently, being good, I have given up for lent the thing I crave the most, Starbucks. I am a lover of Starbucks having my Frappuccinos, Lattes and everything else. So being good I thought that it would be something good to give up for lent. Well what a stupid thing to do.
Since I have been on lent, Starbucks in total have sent me three letters giving me vouchers and a free sample of their new Instant coffee andin inviting me to a Starbucks store and doing a taste test then getting a free drink. And on top of that they have introduced a new key chain sized Starbucks card.
Now their are a few conclusions which I have come to from this. One, someone somewhere is really really testing me ( I think you know who I mean). Two, that I really have Starbucks way to often to even say that the couple of years ago when I gave up Chocolate, Sweets and Biscuits, it was easier than giving up Starbucks. And last the moment it is Easter I will be in a Starbucks drinking my lovely Frappuccino once and for all.
And thinking of the day Jesus resurrected

Ripped Off By BOGOF

The other day in the Metro Newspaper (very good newspaper for free) there was a tiny little article which should have really been a full page spread. Titled
BOGOF? More like rip-off.
This if you haven't figured out already is about BOGOF offers. Recently it has been investigated that the BOGOF offers have been more like a RIPOFF. In the article they gave some figures in some of the 'retail giants' and Asdas were doing an offer which consisted of buy two packs of sausages for just £3 but the packs only cost £1. Know wonder why there prices are so low, because they are getting extra money from the offers (as they so call them).

Then the other offender is Tesco. Online 'Little Rachel's' Yogurts are normally £1.49 each but are offered at two for £3 - 2p more.
So it's not that people are stealing things from Shops, it beginning to become that shops are steeling from us as you can not pay for one separate each.

Advertising could need some Organising.

Earlier today Watching TV with my mum, we saw the advert Change 4 Life. You know the one where it makes you feel like crap because you are not doing any exercising and sitting down on the settee watching TV, yeah that one. Well this one was purely about being fat (so made me even worse). This was about getting healthy, fit and changing what you eat with for healthier things and also smaller portions.
Now not noticing until my mum pointed it out but what stupid idiots put an Oreo Cookies advert straight after the Change 4 Life Advert. You first feel like crap and then wanting Oreo's. As I know from many years of experience (Clearing my throat) YOU CAN NOT HAVE BOTH. If you want us to abide by something, then don't go putting on an advert on which we will stop abiding after 10 seconds.
Thats all, thank you, my rant is over.

Are you Brink Smart

Brink, the multi platform game coming in March is what I would say from the video (which is below) a multi interactive game consisting of shooting with a flow of movement. But what makes this game individual to other games coming or are out now is it SMART, Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain (It does what it says).

This SMART to me brings the aerobatic capabilities of free runners and flowing over across, over and under any obstacle in your way with a touch of one button. Watching the video and seeing what seems to be very similar to the game 'Mirrors Edge' but in reserve. Unlike 'Mirrors Edge' more running than shooting, 'Brink' works in the opposite way, more shooting than running with the added bonus of not needing to use half the amount of buttons for run in 'Mirrors Edge' but still has the good use of it.

Personally I think it is a game to get out of the masses coming out this year just to see what the game in a whole is like.
Check out the videos and see what you think.

A new Toy Story

On Saturday, I went to see Toy Story 2 3D in the cinema. A bit disappointed with the 3D but defiantly not disappointed with the film in the whole. The last time I saw Toy Story 2 most likely in 2001 when I was 7.

Well getting older everyone gets wiser and learns new things and learning these new things you can put them into content. Watching Toy Story 2 I understood a lot more than I did when I was younger and this resulted in a lot of laughter. Watching it really felt like it was a new Toy Story.

And then talking to may friends today about Toy Story, the brought up a very good point. Due to release June 18th Toy Story 3, they were afraid to go and see it because we are teenagers and not kids, my one friend said

'Most of the audience who will go and see
Toy Story 3 would be around our age as we
were brought up watching it.'

Although, even if all of the people watching the film were kids (hopefully quite), I would still go. it Toy Story, no one should turn down Toy Story.

As a treat hear is a Trailer of the new Toy Story and some of the plot. Enjoy the very sad, happy, funny and exciting Trailer of Toy Story. A very very must see in Cinema this summer.
